Tendence Gulliver Carbon Fiber Chronograph

Hey Guys,
This watch is bad ass! Thats about all I really have to say about the Tendence Gulliver Carbon Fiber Series. Bad ASS! Its big. Light weight. and a HUGE statement piece. I have been a fan of Tendence for a few years now, and am so stoked that I get to share this one with you. I will be posting the video review shortly...

Tendence is a cool watch company that is all about making a statement, and expressing individuality. This very concept is expressed very clearly in Tendence's tag line "Larger Than Life".   I don't think that is necessarily a watch for everybody. They are big, bulky and usually very bright and showy. Which is right up my alley! So if a conversation starting, big, showy watch is your thing, look no further!

This series was launched this year at BaselWorld and has been so well received, that they will be making a few more colors and an automatic movement version of the watch available in the very near future! I will keep you updated... cause I be wantin' the automatic!

A stylish, Larger Than Life watch with a distinctive sporty appeal. The carbon fiber dial is accentuated with sporty red detailing including the hands, as well as the Tendence logo and start stop pusher. With signature Tendence 3-D numbers and the number 12 prominently highlighted in red, the finishing touch to this exceptional watch is the sporty leather strap with a special carbon fiber coating effect, contrast red leather backing, and striking red stitching. The case is made from hi-resistance black Nytech TR90 with a black ion-plated stainless steel bezel featuring a tachymeter to time your "off the track" street races. The Carbon Fibre exudes sport!

Skywatch Video Review

Gentleman, Welcome back to ChronoCommentary.

The team at Skywatch was kind enough to send me one of their amazing watches to check out, try on, poke around and review for you. At a glance, it looks like everything I had been hoping for in fashionable dive watch. I came across Skywatch nearly a year ago and had been going back and fourth on if I was going to purchase on or not. Don't get me wrong, the price on these are great! Starting at $295 for the three hand models and $395 for the chronographs isn't bad at all.

So below are photos that I took (thanks iPhone) and a press release that Skywatch sent to me. I hope that you find this useful, and I will have a video review for you guys by the end of the weekend.

Skywatch timepieces are from brand and marketing architect Gabriel Ibarra, who commissioned a product designer from Geneva to realize his vision for the line. The Skywatch timepiece line is Swiss made from Ronda Swiss‐made movements, Italian sailcloth straps and Super LumiNova photo luminescent graphics.

Skywatch is a serious watch that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Most dive watches aren’t worn in water deeper than the kitchen sink. Skywatch timepieces are water‐ resistant to 100M: ready‐to‐wear for the local dive bar or stage diving at Coachella.

Our brand ambassadors are people at the top of their game — from the young entrepreneur who just sold his company for eight figures, the talent agent who started in the mailroom, to the up‐and‐coming in‐demand cinematographer.

We support charitable causes, raising funds for charities like The Trevor Project, Stuart House, the Boys and Girls Club of America and schools across the

country. Skywatch wants to improve the lives of children. For us, a successful company starts with raising the quality of life.

We’ve come through the most trying economy in 100 years and are stronger for it. Skywatch is a part of the solution, employing people and tirelessly investing in what we believe. By discovering and supporting Skywatch, you’re part of the making of a remarkable brand and company.

Until next time,

Brent Garcia
